Very convincing 'cheezy' flavour... a great tasting substitute for a vegan diet.
Ingredients
2 cups raw macaroni
Cheez Sauce (vegan) recipe on BarrowBunch.net
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce (Safeway brand)
1 cup crushed bran flakes
1/2 cup shredded vegan cheese (optional)
Preparation
Make the Cheez Sauce (vegan) recipe according to instructions.
Add mustard and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until well mixed.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Cook pasta according to instructions, drain, and place in a greased 2-litre baking dish.
Pour the sauce over the noodles and fold until mixed.
Sprinkle the crushed bran flakes evenly over the top, then sprinkle with shredded cheese. If you don't want to use the shredded cheese, save a bit of the sauce to drizzle on top of the crushed bran flakes.
Cover and bake for 40 minutes.
Serves 4 adults.
